Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Letter Blitz is built to need as little about you as possible: no account, no email, no password, no ads.

What we store while you play

What stays on your device

The game uses your browser’s storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your name, avatar, room, a random player id and your language, so a refresh brings you back into your game. Tapping Leave and confirming erases your name, avatar, room and player id. Your language choice and a random visitor id (see below) remain until you clear your browser data.

Statistics

We count visits, rooms created, games and rounds played, and total time played, to understand how the game is used. Visits are counted with a random id created on your device, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones — it isn’t linked to your name. Statistics are kept as totals and daily counts until the site owner deletes them. The site owner can see active rooms and the archive (room codes, player names, avatars and scores) on a private dashboard, and can download them as files.

Feedback and messages

After a game or when you leave a room, you can rate your experience and add a comment; we keep the rating, the comment, your player name, avatar and room code. If you write to us through the Contact page, we keep your message and, if you give them, your name and email so we can reply. Jerttech uses feedback and messages only to fix problems, answer you and improve Letter Blitz. To have something you sent removed, just ask through the Contact page.

Checking answers

To check that answers are real and fit their category, the text of each answer is sent to Wikidata, run by the Wikimedia Foundation. Your name is not sent. Wikimedia’s own privacy policy applies to those requests.

Services we rely on

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or share your data, show ads, or build profiles. You never need an email address or phone number to play.

Children

If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before playing, and don’t use your full real name as a player name.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
