About Letter Blitz

Letter Blitz is a fast party game you play with friends, each on your own phone. Everyone gets the same letter and races the clock to fill every category — Country, Capital City, City, Man’s Name, Woman’s Name, Singer, Car, Comedian or Actor, Fruit and more.

How to play

1. Type a name and pick an avatar.
2. Create a room (choose 1, 3, 5, 7 or 11 rounds) or join one with its 4-character code or an invite link.
3. When the host starts, everyone gets the same letter and the same countdown.
4. Fill each category with a word that starts with the letter. A unique real answer scores 10 points; if two players write the same thing, neither scores.
5. Every answer is checked online: made-up words are marked “not found” and answers in the wrong category are marked “wrong category”.
6. The round’s top scorer picks the next letter. After the last round, the best total wins.

What makes it different

• Real answers only — answers are checked against Wikidata, the free knowledge base behind Wikipedia.
• French or English — play in either language, and type answers in either language.
• No sign-up — no account, no password, no download. Just share the code.
• Original characters — twelve avatars drawn for the game.
